Hayley Mendes is a Former Admissions Officer with InGenius Prep who brings a rich history in higher education to her role as a counselor. Completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, Hayley earned dual degrees in English Literature and Middle Eastern Languages and cultures. Since then, Hayley has served as the Assistant Director of Admissions at the University of Notre Dame and now brings her expertise in college counseling to her role at InGenius Prep.

Throughout her experience in college counseling, Hayley has spent years reading and evaluating student applications. She spent three years in Shanghai, China, guiding international students through the application process to US universities. Hayley then joined the Undergraduate Admissions team at Notre Dame, where she evaluated thousands of first-year applications from the Southeast US, Northern Africa, Shanghai, and Taiwan. Her role also included reviewing transfer applications and traveling extensively through Florida to visit high schools and host information sessions, advising students on the criteria for competitive college admissions.

In her mentorship role at InGenius Prep, Hayley is passionate about helping students and their families. She brings all her educational insights to help her mentees navigate the college admissions process. She loves the excitement of working with students as they embark on finding their future college home. Her in-depth knowledge of the admissions process and her dedication to student success make Hayley the ideal mentor for any student aiming to achieve their academic dreams.
